The Queen of England, her majesty, Elizabeth Alexandra has sent her warm greeting to President Muhammadu Buhari on Nigeria 60th independent anniversary.
In the message which was conveyed by the British High Commission in Nigeria, the long reigning queen expressed pleasantry on the long existing partnership between Nigeria and England.

Part of her message read that “It gives me great pleasure to offer my warmest congratulations on the 60th anniversary of Nigeria’s Independence, together with my best wishes for your country’s continued happiness and prosperity.

Recall that Nigeria got her independence from Great Britain on October 1, 1960.
