The Lagos State government has debunked a report making rounds that schools in the state will resume soon.

The state Ministry of Education made this known in a statement by the Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA) through its spokesman Emmanuel Olaniran.

The ministry, warned the public to disregard a resumption timetable in the social media.

Recall that the timetable, which claims to be the 2020/2021 academic calendar, states that the first term of the session will start on September 21 and end on December 18.

The purported calendar gives January 11, 2021 and May 3 as the start dates for second and third terms.
