There was protest in Lagos on Monday at the Lagos State Police Command Ikeja by representative of Civil Society Groups for not remanding a pedophile, Pa, Ebenezer Oyewole.
According to report, Pa Oyewole who is now the oldest pedophile was alleged to have defiled several children of his tenants in Agege, Lagos and despite the Magistrate Order that the perpetrator should be remanded till Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP advice on the case, he was not.

It was also alleged that some persons of influence almost truncated the initial Court process due to the fact that Pa Oyewole was a former Ward Chairman in Agege which the Civil Society said it was a gross Contempt of the Honorable Court.
A letter of displeasure was submitted to the Commissioner of Police who didn’t address the team but a representative was sent to receive the various Petitions from the protesters.
